Protecting a Property from Future Flooding
Following severe flooding at this property over the winter, we were asked to carry out works to help reduce the risk of future flood damage.
This was achieved through a system of drains and earth bunds designed to capture flood water shedding from the surrounding farmland. The system carries water beneath the driveway and around the property before safely returning it to a natural watercourse.
We also sourced matching stone to complement the house and constructed new retaining walls and steps, complete with picket fencing and gates. The project was finished with a new driveway surface and freshly laid lawns.
